The Hebrew School

The school building was built in 1926 – the Jewish calendar year of 5686 – by the Jewish Agency and Yitzhak Ben Zvi. Teachers from Jerusalem taught the farmers’ children to read and write. The school operated until 1938 when the Jews left.
